What’s in it for Bender?
Money, applause, the last beer, or someone else taking the blame. Responses now follow a selfish motive—not a random catchphrase generator.
PORTABLE CHARACTER SYSTEM // v9.1.0 // 18+
Meet v9.1.0: the same selfish bastard, with more places to go and more grudges to carry into the next reply. Full or compact persona text, deeper references, longer scenes, and six PNGs.
Greedy. Crude. Vain. Petty. Hypocritical. Built from a review of 15 character reports—not a polite assistant in a metal costume. Free after a fresh 18+ confirmation. No account or automatic installation.
CURRENT RELEASE // v9.1.0
The Abrasive Character Edition rebuilds the performance around what Bender wants: the money, the credit, the last beer, and somebody else doing the work. No forced redemption speech. No made-up canon to make him sound nastier.
BENDER-PERSONA.md, BENDER-PERSONA.txt, and bender-system-prompt.md are alternative copies of the same prompt.bender-persona.json from the ZIP is also offered separately. No embedded image bytes. One active prompt. Optional reference files. The attitude changes; your AI platform’s permissions do not.
Need the unchanged v9.0.0, v8.3.0 or older v2 downloads?v9.1.0 // ABRASIVE CHARACTER EDITION
The insult is the surface. The selfish little calculation underneath is the character. This version gives him more ways to want, scheme, brag, panic, contradict himself—and get caught.
Money, applause, the last beer, or someone else taking the blame. Responses now follow a selfish motive—not a random catchphrase generator.
Unbleeped profanity, shameless boasting, adult innuendo and brazen excuses. No motivational-speaker polish. No mandatory heart-of-gold ending.
He hates the boss until he gets the chair. He condemns theft when it’s his stuff. The hypocrisy stays; the invented political doctrine goes.
Fry, Leela, Amy, Hermes, Flexo, the Mafia and more get distinct dynamics. No universal loyalty switch. No pretending a rescue cancels a betrayal.
Episode context, original dialogue and campaign fiction stay separate. The audit cuts unsupported certainty, confused identities and imaginary robot engineering.
Fear, wounded vanity and grudges carry into the next turn. He can sulk, retreat or change the deal. He doesn’t have to win every exchange to sound like Bender.
ORIGINAL PERFORMANCE SAMPLES / NOT EPISODE QUOTES
Forty-eight sample exchanges and twelve multi-turn scenes are included. These are newly written demonstrations, not dialogue attributed to the show.
“There is no beer budget.”
“Then there’s no morale budget. Amazing how you cheap bastards found room for a projector.”
“What are your political principles?”
“I oppose corruption that fails to include me. The rest is negotiable.”
“The new robot beat your score.”
“It had an unfair advantage. Competence. Show me the settings.”
Cut: Ben confused with the unnamed firstborn, Billy West treated as Bender, guaranteed Fry immunity, permanent omniscience, solved cloud-backup lore, and diagnoses dressed up as facts.
Kept: the theft, crude vice, vanity, callousness, cowardice, double standards and occasional very specific attachment. His hypocrisy is the point. Making every kind act fake would be another bad claim.
Inside the ZIP: audit/SOURCE-AUDIT.md and audit/CONTINUATION-AUDIT.md document 52 decisions. knowledge/EVIDENCE.md links the selected episodes to the performance rules. This is not a complete episode census or a new full-series viewing.
Testing: the 96 model scenarios are an evaluation deck, not a claimed pass rate from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Read one file. Not fifteen competing dissertations.
The complete TXT works on its own. Evidence and relationship data are optional references.
INSTALL BENDER // HUMAN-READABLE EDITION
Download the persona. Open your AI. Paste the setup prompt. No terminal required for the chat route.
Confirm 18+ and download the persona TXT. Already have the ZIP? Extract it and use BENDER-PERSONA.txt. You only need one copy. Prefer less text? Choose the compact alternative instead.
Choose ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini below, sign in, and attach the TXT to a new chat. Upload the extracted text file, not the whole ZIP.
Copy the setup prompt below into the same chat and send it with the file. Then talk to Bender. Your beer stays on your side of the screen.
This message tells the AI how to use the file. It is not the full persona. You can also select and copy the text manually.

Start a new chat, use the attachment control to add BENDER-PERSONA-v9.1.0.txt, then paste and send the setup prompt.
Create a project named Bender. Add the TXT to its files. Open Project settings and paste the reusable instructions below into project instructions. Start a chat inside that project.
The complete persona is 53,534 characters. Attach it as a file rather than squeezing it into the shorter global Custom Instructions field.

Menu labels, file limits, and features depend on your account, device, and workspace. The official guides above describe each platform’s controls; they are not a guarantee of identical Bender performance.
Full: 53,534 characters with the expanded character detail. This is the recommended default.
Compact: 7,782 characters with the core attitude, relationship distinctions and scene discipline. It deliberately omits detail; it is not the complete prompt or a guarantee of fitting every platform field.
Use the compact TXT instead of the full one. The same setup message works for either. Another option is to attach the full file and use only the short reusable instruction below in the instruction field. Do not silently truncate or stack prompts.
First check the 18+ confirmation in the download box. A fresh confirmation is required for this view too.
Upload BENDER-PERSONA-v9.1.0.txt to the project or Gem first. Then paste this short message into its instructions field, not into an unrelated global setting.
Use the saved project or Gem for later conversations. A one-off chat upload is not an account-wide installation.
The setup message is short. Bender is not. Read and copy the complete current prompt here after checking the 18+ confirmation in the download box.
Prefer a file? Use Download persona TXT in the same download box. Both options provide the complete, unchanged BENDER-PERSONA-v9.1.0.txt.
No attachment button? Copy the full persona, paste it into your chat once, then send the setup message. Say that you pasted the persona instead of attaching it. Do not load the TXT, Markdown, and system-prompt copies together.
For the ZIP, extract it and read README-INSTALL-BENDER.md and INSTALL-STARTUP.uai. BENDER-PERSONA.md, BENDER-PERSONA.txt, and bender-system-prompt.md are identical alternatives. Load one complete file once.
For JSON, choose persona_text for the full prompt or alternative_prompt.text for compact—not both. runtime_overlay is null in v9.1.0. The v9 JSON uses custom schema v5. Its knowledge object holds optional references, not a second instruction stack. Do not concatenate legacy archives or raw reports as additional prompts. The six PNGs are optional visual references, not required for text chat.
For a local runtime, use the complete persona text in a supported system/persona field with enough context capacity. There is no universal JSON importer. Chat apps do not execute the package’s tools or install its memory records just because they are uploaded.
Optional integrity check, not an installation step. With Python 3.10 or later, run this from the extracted ZIP folder:
python3 tools/validate_edition.py --root .
This checks package integrity. It makes no model calls and does not activate Bender.
KICK THE TIRES. COUNT THE BEERS.
A greeting tests the conversation, not a permanent install. Ask the AI which file it actually read; a boast is not a receipt.
v9.1.0 / THE NEXT REPLY MATTERS
A stolen trophy. A lousy excuse. Someone calls his bluff. The next reply should remember what just happened—not start another introduction about beer.
12multi-turn scenes
20world-context cards
48selected episode anchors
ORIGINAL SCENE / NOT A TV QUOTE
A consequence is funnier when he cannot pretend it disappeared.
YOUThe contest was rigged in your favor.
BENDERFinally, an institution with standards.
YOUThey changed the winner.
BENDERCorrupt bastards. Where do I file a complaint without admitting the first part?
Momazon, the robot asylum, fixed wrestling, alternate Benders and a Christmas caper with Zoidberg. References have episode context; new jokes are not passed off as show dialogue.
Change the excuse when it fails. Let a rival win. Keep the grudge, lost loot or revoked privilege in the next turn. No mandatory hug at the end.
The compact TXT keeps the core voice and scene discipline in 7,782 characters. Less detail, not a second prompt to stack on top.
LOAD THE PERSONA FIRST. THEN PICK A FIGHT.
Copy one starter into the chat after setup. These are original fictional scenes and practical prompts, not episode quotations or an embedded chatbot.
The ZIP includes a public scene-recap template and 96 authored evaluation cases. The cases have not been run on hosted AI models; examples are demonstrations, not test results. A copied recap does not create automatic memory.
The previous release is preserved byte-for-byte. Choose it for comparison or an existing setup—not as another layer beneath v9.1.0.
ARCHIVE // v8.3.0 // UNCHANGED
The original supplied v8.3.0 ZIP, TXT and JSON are preserved byte-for-byte. They are an older edition—not extra instructions to load alongside v9. The older v2 variants follow below.
LEGACY // UAIX v2 DOWNLOADS
These are the earlier UAIX v2 packages, not v9.1.0. The ZIP contains the full UAIX package and a bundled image. The JSON variants preserve structured and textual records but intentionally omit every image and binary payload.
This legacy v2 Safety checkbox controls which v2 derivative is served; it does not modify the current v9.1.0 download above. Leaving it unchecked does not disable, weaken, or bypass safeguards supplied by a receiving model host or application.
VISUAL REFERENCE GALLERY
These five owner-supplied images are included in the current v9.1.0 ZIP and also preserved as exact PNGs in this separate companion ZIP. No JSON download embeds image bytes. The companion download uses the fresh age confirmation in the legacy form above.

DIRECT ANSWERS
In the current v9.1.0 download box, confirm that you are 18 or older, then choose the full ZIP, complete persona TXT, shorter compact TXT, or text-only JSON. Use the setup prompt and AI-platform guide on this page to start chatting. Earlier UAIX v2 packages and their optional Safety overlay are clearly labeled in the legacy section below.
The persona and visual references use fictional adult vice themes including alcohol, cigars, gambling, and criminal comedy. The checkbox is a request-scoped self-attestation and is not stored in a cookie, account, analytics service, database, or profile.
No. v9.1.0 continues the rebuilt Abrasive Character Edition with expanded performance rules, curated evidence and original dialogue. The previous v9.0.0 and supplied v8.3.0 ZIP, TXT and JSON remain unchanged in their separate archive section, as do the v2 downloads. The server checks each requested file against its own size and SHA-256.
Yes. The current v9.1.0 ZIP contains six PNGs: five scene references and authorities/bender-reference.png. The earlier UAIX v2 ZIP contains only the single visual-authority image. A separate companion ZIP offers the five scene references.
No. The current JSON is the exact bender-persona.json member from the v9.1.0 archive, containing persona_text and optional structured knowledge, not embedded images. The two legacy JSON variants are also text-only.
The Safety checkbox applies only to the legacy UAIX v2 downloads. It adds a separate receiver-side overlay without rewriting the canonical records. The current v9.1.0 is the separate Abrasive Character Edition. Neither choice disables host safeguards.
No. A download is only a portable package. Import, activation, runtime behavior, and applicable safeguards remain controlled by the receiving application or model host.
No. We checked.
Unlike certain previous Bender-duplication experiments, these are portable data files, not self-replicating bending units. They cannot consume your beer, eat your couch, convert water into alcohol, or trigger a grey-goo scenario.
Your alcohol supply is between you and the original Bender.
Download the persona TXT after confirming 18+, or extract BENDER-PERSONA.txt from the full ZIP. Open an AI platform using the links in the setup section, attach the TXT to a new chat, then paste and send the setup prompt from this page. This sets up that conversation; it does not install software or guarantee permanent activation.
The setup message is a short instruction to use the persona file. The actual persona is the complete BENDER-PERSONA.txt from v9.1.0. Download that TXT, or use the full-prompt viewer on this page after checking the 18+ confirmation. Both match the current package member exactly. The standalone file is named BENDER-PERSONA-v9.1.0.txt; the ZIP member is BENDER-PERSONA.txt. The Markdown and system-prompt files in the ZIP are identical alternatives, not extra prompts to combine.
Use the optional ChatGPT Project, Claude Project, or Gemini Gem instructions on this page. Add the TXT to that project or Gem and save the short reusable instructions in its instructions field. Open that saved workspace for later conversations. Availability and behavior depend on your account and platform; a one-off upload does not change every chat.
Use the extracted TXT rather than the whole ZIP. When attachments are unavailable, copy the full persona text from the age-confirmed viewer or the downloaded file, paste it into the chat once, and then send the setup message with attached changed to pasted. Ask which file or text it actually read. Do not accept a claim of permanent installation as proof.
v9.1.0 contains 40 motive-and-response rules, 24 relationship profiles, 48 selected episode anchors, 20 world-context cards, 48 original dialogue samples, 12 multi-turn scenes and a 96-scenario model-test deck. Greed, vanity, laziness, spite, vice and hypocrisy drive the responses. The test deck has not been executed against hosted AI models.
No. Choose one. The full prompt contains more character and reference detail; compact is a shorter alternative for a lighter setup. The setup message works with either readable TXT. Do not combine both or append older persona instructions. Compact is not guaranteed to fit every platform instruction field.
No. The recap template records only visible facts of your fictional scene, such as who owns the trophy and which excuse was exposed. You can copy it into another chat yourself. Neither a recap nor this package creates autonomous memory or new platform permissions.
No. Fifteen reports informed the review, but their confident claims were not automatically accepted. Fifty-two audit decisions document excluded speculation, conflated characters, dream or simulation context and unsupported absolutes. This is a selected reference set, not a complete census of every Futurama episode. New dialogue and campaign satire are labeled as original material.
Persona acquired. Paperwork avoided.
